The very first beginnings of the Oechsle Display Systeme GmbH started back in 1956. „With a little isolating component part for Telefunken it all got started“, ...Margit Oechsle, Managing Director since 21 years is remembering. Back then, her parents Hermann and Rosa Oechsle decided to go the rather risky road of independent entrepreneurship. In their household laundry room they started the business of producing technical injection moulding parts made of plastics for the electronic industry.

New forms of trade were requiring for new products

Times were changing and little Mom-and-Pop grocery stores were disappearing in favour of supermaket stores which were looking for new and different shop equipment. Hermann Oechsle got aware of this great opportunity: Following, in the 70's the Oechsle company began with the development of the showcard profile, which turned into today's international standard at the POS. Started as a small 3-man family enterprise, Oechsle has turned into a modern business company with more than 120 employees. Today's  product range holds an extensive selection of showcard frames with most various accessories, showcard stands and price displays made of premium plastics, high-quality aluminium and pure wood. Completed by our shelf management system as well as various suspension systems we do provide all you need for the promotional shop equipment. 

Consolidation with a high performing partner

In regards of strategic alliances Margit Oechsle is amending: „With the aquisition of werba print and display we have gained a powerful partner and specialist in the fields of screen- & digital printing as well as acrylics. The offered product range therefore could be expanded by significant and important visual products to support the effective sales support and promotion at the POS. So shop fitters and decorators will find everything they need: design and print of big-size posters and signs, ceiling hangers, window foils, headers & wobblers, price cassettes, acrylic displays, objects for the shelf refinement and much more."
