The future of Oechsle depends on how well we can respond to customer wishes and market requirements. A very good example of this is the new development of the Oechsle Mini-Variotray for our French customer FREDLAURELLA. The project started in summer 2020 and the first products were delivered in April 2021. The special feature is that this new concept was developed in order to be able to react to relatively small, difficult products on the shelf, e.g. for liquids or nail polishes.
The Mini-Variotray consists of one component per facing and can therefore be assembled with a single movement. It's always solid in the same place and can't be as easy as individual shelf dividers, pushers can be moved back and forth on the T-rail. The shelf divider and the sliding rail are one unit, which firstly has a positive effect on handling, secondly the stability and thirdly the appearance. Like a modular system, the system can be expanded as required in terms of width. The lengths we currently envisage are 285, 335 and 385 mm. Different product widths can be served. The standard structure allows widths from 18 to 35 mm. If you turn the unit of the shelf divider and sliding rail by 180 degrees, product widths of 40 to 120 mm can be presented. The pusher is equipped with 2 Newtons.
With this new development, we will conquer a unique selling point on the POS market, as there are no comparable products to date. We expect a lot of synergy effects for other customers and product groups. The task now is to intensively market and roll out this product. We wish the Mini-Variotray every success with its worldwide POS presence.
