The special thing about this system is the structure. Requirements regarding specifications such as width and height adjustability were precisely defined by dm drogerie markt Austria. The system consists of a so-called basic set and can be expanded as required with an add-on set in a cost-effective manner. The basic set consists of two shelf dividers, a liner base, a back wall and two pushers. An add-on set, on the other hand, only contains a shelf divider, a liner base, a rear wall and two pushers. The development and construction work for this was carried out by our technical department, as all individual parts were specifically designed for the product and no standard products could be used.
First of all, we were able to demonstrate the high product and functional quality in the prototype development, whereupon the intended product groups were tested with 39 additional basic sets and the area of application was specified. The subsequent test installations in Salzburg were unfortunately carried out due to the coronavirus, without the presence of OEK employees, from the shop design department at dm drogerie markt.
An injection molding tool is currently being manufactured in our in-house tool shop for the special shelf dividers, with which the new products can be produced directly in production. Thanks to our own toolmaking departement, we can draw on years of experience in toolmaking, which completes our core competence in injection molding and enables us to carry out very fast, flexible and customer-specific projects.
