The newly developed Flex Panel is the answer for stationary retail in order to stop shrinkage and resulting out-of-stock situations for premium products such as high-priced fragrances or cosmetics. This innovative form of article surveillance brings a real added value to the retail sector. An existing sales shelf is equipped with a plug & play tray, which is placed directly on the shelf with minimal effort and is ready for use. There is no need for complicated installations, video and robot-assisted technologies or programming. The removal of a product is registered and acknowledge. Unusual withdrawals trigger an alarm so that potential thefts, attract attention. The core solution is the maximum effect in terms of article security which is achieved with the lowest amount of built-in electronics and costs.
As a data source, the IMCo technology also offers efficient POS data analyzes through the use of additional IMCo sensors and recognizes out-of-stock situations on the shelf. The transmission of the analysis data to the cloud for central access and overview is possible and allows extensive analysis at the POS. The circle to the IoT is herewith complete.
Additional marketing effects such as seasonal brandings, specials or special staging at the POS can be achieved through the printing technology of the sliding slats. As an upgrade and turbo for space efficiency, the Flex-Panel is even available with the new Oechsle double-deck technology.
