Product pusher for large and heavy products – Heavy Duty Tray

Studies have already shown that the visibility of the goods has a decisive influence on the consumer's decision to buy. After all, neat shelves make it easy for customers to find the right product at the right price. At the same time, the time and thus the costs for shelf maintenance by sales staff are reduced.

Now, however, there are product areas in which a conventional pusher reaches its limits. Especially when it comes to larger packaging or voluminous products, our customers have been facing great challenges so far. Our development and technology department has taken up these challenges and we were able to present our innovation from the field of shelf management at EuroShop 2020: Heavy Duty Tray (HDT).

It is a unique pusher system especially for large and heavy products with a minimum width of 80 mm. The special features of the Heavy Duty Tray are, in addition to the slide-optimised guide rail, which prevents blocking of the product feed, the support strip for better stability and guidance of the product, above all the already integrated, reinforced front anchor to avoid any weak points.

Thanks to their modular design, the trays can be used flexibly and can be moved quickly and easily by lifting. No additional fixing material is required, standard T-rails are sufficient. Of course, this shelf organisation system is available with the popular Slow Feed (gentle feed) from Oechsle.

The construction variants are as varied as its areas of application. These range from refrigerated and frozen food, baby food and nappies to muesli, cereals, coffee and much more.

From a product width of 160 mm, a second HDT can easily be installed. Products from 190 mm upwards, such as frozen pizza, can be equipped with a double rear enlargement to ensure even distribution of the pressure and thus easy pushing back of the products as well as a more stable feed.
