The new Tobacco Tax Ordinance came into force on July 1, 2022. The new regulation increases the tobacco tax and the maximum number of grams available for shisha tobacco. The weight of the shisha tobacco was reduced to 25 grams per pack. This corresponds approximately to a shisha tobacco bowl.
